Court Bans Sale Of Samsung Galaxy Tab10.1 In US

A US court has barred the sale of Samsung's new Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet computer, siding with Apple in a bitter clash between the tech giants over suspected patent breach.

The district court of California banned the sales because it said that there was evidence that Samsung had copied the design of apple product. Samsung officials were clearly disappointed at the ruling. Apple was asked to post security bond of 2.6million dollars in case Samsung was later found not guilty of infringement.

The patent war has now been going on for quite a while between apple and Samsung. Recently, a hearing in Netherlands cleared Samsung of infringement. While in 2011 the sale of galaxy tablet was banned in Germany due to apple winning a law suit against Samsung. Innovation seems to be the need of time rather than such tech giants accusing each other of copying their designs and stealing their patents. Other than apple other giants such as Microsoft and Google are also blaming each other of patent infringement.
